Afghanistan: Collective Accountability to Affected People Strategy 2023-2024

Attachments

The Afghanistan strategy for collective accountability to affected people was designed and finalized through a series of consultations with clusters, field frontline teams, humanitarian partners (National and International NGOs, UN agencies), thematic working groups, and donors to ensure it reflects the collective priorities in strengthening a “people centered approach” to humanitarian action in Afghanistan. This strategy was also consulted with the Focal Point of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee on Accountability to Affected People at the global level in adapting the Collective AAP Framework for country context of Afghanistan and the Team Lead, Data Responsibility for the OCHA Centre for Humanitarian Data (HDX) in ensuring safe, ethical, and effective data management for AAP.
Thanks to many partners who provided time, energy, and expertise in developing this collective strategy – your valuable contributions have been critical to ensuring the humanitarian response is guided by crisis-affected people.
This Collective AAP Strategy was endorsed by the Humanitarian Country Team on 18 May 2023.
