During the reporting period, almost 13,000 individuals returned to Afghanistan through Torkham, Spin Boldak and Bahramcha, of which 70% were undocumented individuals and Afghan Citizen Card (ACC) holders and 30% POR card holders and other returns. While this marks another decrease of 19% compared to the previous week, returns remained at a level significantly higher than before the recent increase since the beginning of April. The number of over 1,600 (18%) of undocumented individuals and ACC holders reported as deportations, however, marks a notable increase compared to the previous week. The number of documented returns (including facilitated voluntary repatriations, POR card holders and other returns) saw a slight decrease of 7% compared to the previous week. The slight majority (57%) of individuals during the reporting period returned through Spin Boldak border crossing in Kandahar province.
