Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan during last two days took the exam from 1200 legible doctors for enrollment in Specialty Program.
MoPH has launched the specialty program in order to enhance the capacities and capabilities of medical personnel in which legible doctors to learn various medicine fields.
One of the major challenges in providing of quality health services, is the shortage of medical personnel and specialized cadres, therefore the MoPH has launched the specialty program to address this problem and develop the capacity in the hospitals.
Emphasizing on transparency of this exam, Dr. Homa Kabiri, head of Specialty Program Department of the MoPH said, the exam papers of these doctors are being evaluated by computerized system that helps further in transparency of the exam’s results.
The doctors, both male and female from all over the country have participated in the specialty test and only 280 of them after completion the scoring criteria can be enrolled in the program.
