102 projects completed in Herat province

The 102 sub projects completed in Oaba district of Herat province will enable approximately 64000 rural people to have access to basic services.

These projects include: 11 water supply networks, three community centers, 10 micro-hydro power plants, digging of 14 deep and semi-deep safe drinking water wells, repairing and gravelling rural roads, protection walls, cleaning of irrigation canals, and water storages.

The projects have been completed through the National Solidarity Programme (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) at a cost of more than AFN 162 million and 350 thousand. The communities have also given a 10% contribution towards the finalization of these projects.

It’s pertinent to mention that during last one month 192 projects have been completed and handed-over through National Solidarity Program (NSP) of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development in Pashtonzraghon, Ghoryan and Rubat Sangi districts of Herat province.
