Swissfuture

Swissfuture is a member of the SAGW – Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The association is dedicated to systematic futures studies in research, teaching, and practice. Its members teach futures studies methods at universities or create future studies and scenarios in public institutions and private organizations.

For politicians, administrators, educational institutions, the media and the interested public, swissfuture provides an overview of all studies, scenarios and theses that deal with the future in Switzerland.

Swissfuture is a neutral association that

• initiates and promotes exchange and competition about different visions of the future;
• conducts future research itself;
• Makes the results of future research known to the general public and targeted groups;
• Advises politics, business and society on decision-making through methodically sound visions of the future;
• promotes the recognition of future research in Switzerland;
• is a hub for futurologists in Switzerland.
