Designing and Managing Evaluations is a 3-day course to assist evaluators and those commissioning evaluations to design appropriate and robust evaluations. The course helps evaluation practitioners and managers to conceptualise evaluations (i.e. design an evaluation framework), choose an appropriate evaluation methodology, implement an entire evaluation process using a participatory, capacity building approach, and use evaluations to facilitate learning.
Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for Development Projects is a 5-day course is to equip development practitioners with the knowledge and expertise to be able to conduct their own planning, monitoring, evaluation and learning or to be able to guide project partners in doing so. The course focusses on using the Logical Framework Approach as a planning tool and process, which is then used as a foundation for M&E planning. This is an excellent introductory course to programme planning, monitoring and evaluation.
Theory of Change is a tool that describes a process of planned change, from the assumptions that guide its design, the planned interventions and outcomes to the longer-term impacts it seeks to achieve. This 2-day workshop introduces Theory of Change as both a product and a process. You will get to work through the process of developing a Theory of Change for the case study that you are working on. Also, see how Theory of Change can be derived from other processes such as logical framework approach.
