MOSCOW, December 27, 2003. /RIA Novosti/. A group of Russian rescuers of the Emergency Situations Ministry and physicians arrived Friday afternoon in the Iranian town of Bam, which suffered most from the earthquake.
"At present a tent camp and mobile hospitals are pitched to give aid to those injured during the earthquake. After the work to be done there is agreed upon with the local authorities, the rescuers will start a search for people buried under the debris," the Emergencies Ministry told RIA Novosti.

As the RIA Novosti correspondent has been told at the Chechen Interior Ministry, about 400 separatist fighters entered Grozny this night. Battles are now going on all over the city. Chechen Deputy Interior Minister Yury Plugin said that the Oktyabrsky and Zavodskoy District Interior Departments have been encircled and are waging battles now. Five check-points are also repelling the Chechen fighters' attacks.
