RedR International
Description
RedR International ensures that RedR develops as a cohesive and effective international movement; it is an Association under Swiss law and is governed by the General Assembly.
RedR's General Assembly
The General Assembly brings together representatives from all the accredited and emerging RedRs to:
support and accredit emerging RedR organisations;
monitor accredited members' compliance with RedR International's Fundamental Principles;
develop coherent collaborative activities across the whole RedR movement;
agree collective collaborations with other humanitarian organisations and initiatives, such as the Sphere Standards;
plan initiatives that leverage the joint RedR contribution to current humanitarian crises.
The General Assembly meets at approximately 15 month intervals; it delegates actions arising from its meetings to an executive group supported by the RedR International Co-ordinator.
