Proliska
Description
The humanitarian mission Proliska was founded by volunteers on July 10, 2014. The main goal of the mission is to provide comprehensive assistance to the civilian population affected by the armed conflict in Ukraine.
From 2014 to February 24, 2022, Proliska was engaged in assisting the civilian population living directly on the contact line in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The main areas of our activity were humanitarian assistance, social support, psychological assistance, implementation of infrastructure restoration projects, as well as transport assistance for residents of "isolated" settlements, where access to administrative and social services is absent or limited.
In February 2022, most of our humanitarian centres were occupied, while others found themselves in the zone of constant shelling.
However, Proliska continued to carry out its humanitarian activities in terms of comprehensive assistance to the civilian population in the frontline zone, as well as to internally displaced persons and returnees through 13 offices in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia and Zakarpattia regions.
