BOSTON (Nov. 30, 2016) – Partners In Health (PIH) today released the following statement in advance of tomorrow’s commemoration of World AIDS Day 2016.
The Development Officer for the Leadership Giving team is responsible for implementing a comprehensive strategy for leadership giving premium donors, which consists of those who give between $10,000 and $100,000 cumulatively or have the capacity to make $25,000+ gifts.
This person will support strengthening of psychotherapy interventions and services across PIH’s 10 sites. The position provides an opportunity for career development in global mental health care delivery, program implementation and health system strengthening for post-graduate or mid-career psychologists. The ‘Development Coordinator’ will provide the necessary administrative and database support to the Leadership Giving team and the Gift Planning team. As a member of the Leadership Giving team, the ‘Development Coordinator’ will work alongside two development officers, an associate development officer and the director of leadership giving in their efforts to cultivate, steward, and solicit mid-level donors, defined as donors who give between $1,000 and $100,000 annually.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytics and Applications, the Analyst will assist with maintenance and enhancement projects related to organization wide data, reports, and systems. The analyst will partner with Boston and site teams (IT, Development, Supply Chain, Medical Informatics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Finance and others) to explore ways to increase efficiency, reduce parallel processes, bolster our helpdesk application support, expand access to cross-functional data, and improve our ability to make data-driven decisions.
The Executive Assistant to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (EA) is an integral member of the team. This individual’s primary responsibilities include the department head’s schedule, travel coordination, meeting and presentation preparation, and financial tracking. The individuals secondary responsibilities are to the Communication team’s many activities: scheduling team meetings, booking travel, reimbursements, and acting as the first point of contact for the organization as it pertains to communication issues.
