Kathmandu, February 20: Doctors have vowed not to close down emergency services in hospitals, nursing homes and other health facilities, Saturday.
Speaking at a press conference at the end of the 25th convention of Nepal Medical Association (NMA) in Nepalgunj on Saturday, NMA office-bearers said, the emergency services will not be closed down at any cost from now on.

Kathmandu, August 24: At least five persons were killed due to floods and landslides triggered by heavy rainfall in many parts of the country on Monday.
Two persons were swept away by rivers in Sindhuli district yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as 17-yr-old Yunita B.K.
Kathmandu, September 7: The Special Committee on supervising, integrating and rehabilitating the Maoist combatants has decided to bring the combatants under its command and has directed its technical committee to prepare a report on how this could be done.
Special Committee member Dr Ram Saran Mahat said after a meeting of the committee at PMO in Sindha Durbar that the technical committee has been asked to submit report on the supervision of the Maoist People's Liberation Army under the Special Committee.
Kathmandu, September 7: Two members of a single family were killed and three others were seriously injured when a house at Ramechhap district was swept away by landslides caused by incessant rainfall on Saturday night.
The victims have been identified as Niraj Sahi, 11, and Sukmaya Sahi, 62, a resident of Bhaluwajor -4.
The three critically injured are Bir Bahadur Sahi, 70, Chinmaya Sahi, 30, and Saroj Sahi, 2. They are currently undergoing treatment at the District based hospital.
Landslides are common during the monsoon season in the hilly districts of the country.
