Indonesian Society for Disaster Management

Masyarakat Penanggulangan Bencana Indonesia – MPBI (Indonesia Society for Disaster Management) advocates for the use of international humanitarian standards in Indonesia by supporting the National Standards Agency in developing Indonesia National Standards on Humanitarian Response, the National Professional Working Competence on Disaster Management and in the National Law on Disaster Management.

MPBI is officially recognized as the Country Focal Point for Sphere Standards. MPBI is also a full member of the Asian Disaster Reduction and Response Network (ADRRN).
