SOUTHFIELD, MI – Life for Relief and Development continues to make a positive impact on the lives of people all across Iraq through our decades-long work and various humanitarian programs in the country. Recent Life projects include the distribution of food baskets to over 3000 needy families throughout Iraq including in Diyala, Sulaimaniya, and Salah Eldin, as well as other cities.

Life distributes winter coats to children and orphans in Palestine
Life staff in Nazareth distributed winter coats in the 48 regionin Alut, Yaffa-Nazareth, Areena, Shafa Amru and the Jordan River Valley. In the West Bank in Dhul Karim Camp, Nur-Shams Camp, Kafr Raman, Jalut, Dhul Karim city, Dir Ghassan, Seeda, Anupta, Kufr Jamal, Danba, Khittabah, Ateel, Qalqiliah, Jenin, Qalqiliah orphanage, Arabic Khul Karim orphanage, Red Crescent orphanage and Jenin camp
Life, in partnership with Brother’s Brother Foundation and the American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa, delivered a 40 foot shipping container of primary and secondary school books to schools in Mogadishu Somalia, which were donated by McGraw-Hill Publishing.
In May of 2014, Life's staff sacrificed 20 sheep in Lebanon and distributed the meat to 220 needy Syrian refugee families living in tent camps in the Bekaa, Akkar and Tripoli, Lebanon in partnership with U.S.-based Baitulmaal charity.
Life for Relief and Development’s Iraq's office installed water filtration/water cooler units with water holding tanks in 2 schools in Diyala, Iraq as part of an ongoing effort by Veteran’s for Peace, USA to provide clean, purified drinking water to public institutions such as schools, clinics and public buildings throughout Iraq.
