The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed more than 2000 food parcels for the displaced families and those who have returned to their areas in Salahuddin governorate.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) is seeking to empower the local communities and increase their capacity to cope with various humanitarian crises in urgent situations, in order to mitigate its potential harm, where the relief teams are continuing to provide food, relief and health support to the families in Mosul.
Since its establishment, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has been providing aid and assistance to all groups of the community, especially the most vulnerable, also attracting the youth energies and directing their creations to serve their communities, so the IRCS`s teams have distributed Eid clothing at the old Khazraj area in Mosul provided by the humanitarian identity center, the number of beneficiaries has reached 100 youth.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has provided medical and therapeutic services to 395 families in different neighborhoods in the city of Mosul.
The IRCS has reported ” the Iraqi Red Crescent health teams who are deployed on the right side of Mosul have provided first aid, health services, and medical treatments on a daily basis at the mobile medical clinics in the areas of Al-Shifa, Bab Lakash and Al-Mansour center on the right side of Mosul. The number of the treated cases every day are 395 case within those neighborhoods. ”
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed more than 500 food parcels for the families who have returned to their areas in Tikrit district.
”The teams of the IRCS have distributed 537 food parcels for the families who have returned to their home areas in Tikrit district and they are continuing to distribute for all the displaced families that have been surveyed because they are covered by food assistance”, said the IRCS relief teams official of Salahuldin center Mr. Hyder Qassim.
