Between the years of 2012 and 2017, Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has earmarked and spent $46.089.000 (TL 123.500.000) aiming to contribute to the humanitarian relief efforts for the Rohingya refugees living in Bangladesh. Since August 2017, the overall foreign humanitarian aid distributed by four agencies of the Republic of Turkey; AFAD, TİKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency), Türk Kızılay (Turkish Red Crescent) and TDV (Turkiye Diyanet Foundation) outnumbers $11.260.000 (TL 42.788.000).
This report contains findings of IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Flow Monitoring Surveys (FMS) conducted between 11 December 2017 and 11 February 2018 by IOM field staff in provinces of Edirne, İzmir, Kocaeli, Konya, Bursa, Bilecik, Burdur, Çorum, Eskişehir, Samsun, Mersin, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Van.
The survey gathers information about migrants’ profiles, including age, gender, areas of origin, levels of education and employment status before migration, key transit points on their route, cost of the journey, reasons for moving and intentions.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Turkey as guarantors of the Astana format:
1.Reaffirmed their strong commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic and to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter;
2.Highlighted that these principles should be universally respected and that any action that might violate them and undermine achievements of the Astana format should be avoided;
Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu said, "Today, Turkey has the 2nd Largest Earthquake Watch Web of Europe. Last year, 39 thousand 287 earthquakes took place in the country. The Web recorded 19 thousand 446 earthquakes in the first 10 days of this year”.

Turkey's Humanitarian Response in Afrin
Since the Operation Olive Branch was commenced, The Republic of Turkey Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), Turkish Red Crescent and other Turkish NGOs have delivered humanitarian aid to the people in acute need living in 337 different locations of Afrin.
