The broad Area of Low Pressure (93L) has a medium to high chance of development into a tropical cyclone within the next 48 hours.

The National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) in collaboration with the National Meteorological Service hereby informs the general public that the strong Tropical Wave in the west-central Caribbean Sea has an 80% chance of becoming a Tropical Depression or a Tropical Storm over night. The system with maximum sustained winds near 35mph is moving to the West-North-West at 12mph. The current position is near 15.6 North Latitude and 82.0 West Longitude or some 90 miles East-North-East of Cabo Gracias a Dios, off the Nicaraguan/Honduras border.

The National Meteorological Service and the National Emergency Management Organization(NEMO) are closely monitoring a powerful Category 4 Hurricane Matthew which is located at 13.5 North latitude and 71.6 West Longitude packing winds of 140 miles per hour. Matthew is moving West South West at 9 Miles per hour. The system is more than 1, 000 miles away from Belize.

Jacintoville is currently under flood conditions. Aguactae village is inaccessible and water is 15ft above the bridge. Other villages along the Moho River must closely monitor the flood situation and take the necessary precautions. Other villages in the Toledo and Stann Creek Districts must be on alert for flooding.
