The UN, EU and partners warn in the Global Report on Food Crises that over the past decade, acute hunger numbers have doubled, while funding has retreated to 2016 levels.
Global Network Against Food Crises
Description
The Global Network Against Food Crises (GNAFC) is a multistakeholder initiative of humanitarian and development actors, united by a commitment to tackle the root causes of food crises and to promote sustainable solutions. We share analyses and knowledge, and strengthen the coordination of evidence-based responses across the humanitarian–development–peace nexus. We bring together existing initiatives, platforms and mechanisms, to enhance synergies and avoid duplication. We operate at national, regional, and global levels.
