report Convoy of Hope

TORTOLA, BVI - Sustained 185-mile-per-hour winds plucked blades of grass and telephone poles from the ground. The damaging winds ripped roofs from their homes, tore the palms off of palm trees, hurled boats, cars and massive shipping containers through the air. Power lines came down, a majority of businesses are shuttered indefinitely and homes and schools are destroyed. Food, water, tarps and fuel are scarce and desperately needed.
