Capacity for Disaster Reduction Initiative
Description
The Capacity for Disaster Reduction Initiative (CADRI) is a global partnership composed of 20 organizations working towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals by providing countries with capacity development services to help them reduce climate and disaster risk.
We provide countries with a mechanism to mobilize and pool expertise from within and outside our constituency to complement in-country expertise in and beyond the United Nations System. We do this by bringing together FAO, IOM, UNDP, UNICEF and UNFPA (executive partners), GNDR, IFRC, OCHA, UNESCO, UNOPS, WFP, WHO, WMO (technical partners) and GFDRR, OECD, ODI, RedR Australia, UNDRR, UN WOMEN (advisory partners).
