The SDGs course equips participants with a sound understanding of the concept of sustainable development as well as the vision and principles of the 2030 Agenda. It explores the three pillars of sustainable development while taking a look at the inter-linkages between climate change, planetary boundaries, social inclusion and human rights. It also identifies key lessons from the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals and the significant differences in the new agenda.
Result Based Management Monitoring and Evaluation is a management strategy by which all actors ensure that their processes, products and services contribute to the achievement of desired results (outputs, outcomes and higher level goals or impact). The actors in turn use information and evidence on actual results to inform decision making on the design, resourcing and delivery of programmes and activities as well as for accountability and reporting.

Many of these geographical entities were colonized and in course of time these entities earned independence through long struggle.
The International Institute of Peace and Development Studies (IIPDS) is calling for applications from peace activists, community development workers, scholars, journalists and youth, women and religious leaders for its next School of Peace Studies and Conflict Transformation Course. The two-week course will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from February 14th – 25th February 2019. It will include workshops, lectures and exposure visits to local communities and peace initiatives.
