At its unusual session, the Cabinet decided on 25 / 8 / 2011 presenting a humanitarian assistance to the Somali people to fight drought and famine in the Horn of Africa as a humanitarian obligation and solidarity, especially in the month of Ramadan.
The Cabinet also decided to provide (22 500) Twenty-two thousand and five hundred thousand tons of wheat. It was also decided to pay the late amount of five (5) million dollars to support the efforts of the Somali government
