The cumulative rainfall situation as of March
10 illustrates that Zambia this season has received mostly below-normal
rainfall, with normal rainfall limited to the extreme western, northwestern,
and western parts of northern Zambia. Only a small portion of Luapula Province
has received above-average rainfall so far during the current agricultural
season.
