Hepatitis A

  • New Caledonia: Hepatitis A outbreak is still ongoing; 478 cases were reported between 01 January 2021 and 25 October 2021, in comparison to 100 cases reported in 2020 and 5 cases in 2019*.* – Source: Personal communication with country officials on 25 October 2021.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)

  • Fiji: As of 25 October 2021, 52,028 cases and 673 deaths have been reported in Fiji. There have been 51,958 cases and 672 deaths during the current outbreak that started in April 2021.
