The mumps outbreak in Vanuatu has been declared over. – Source: personal communication with country officials on 9 November 2018. – The alert has been removed from the map.

Additional information of relevance (e.g. imported cases with travel history to Pacific Island countries and territories):

· Three (3) imported cases of dengue (2 cases of DENV-2 and 1 case of dengue serotype unknown) with travel history to Solomon Islands were reported by Queensland Health (notifiable conditions data) for the period 01/01/2018 – 4/11/2018 available onlinehttps://www.health.qld.gov.au/publications/clinical-practice/guidelines-procedures/diseases-infection/surveillance/reports/mosquito-borne/mbd-report.pdf.
