Dengue

  • DENV-3 in Republic of the Marshall Islands: There have been 3,368 dengue like illness of which 1,562 have been laboratory confirmed by the Republic of the Marshall Islands as of 06 May 2020.   • DENV-2 in Wallis and Futuna: There have been 7 new indigenous dengue cases reported for weeks 17 and 18 by Wallis and Futuna and a total of 73 cases of confirmed and probable dengue cases since 11th February 2019. – Source: Epidemiological surveillance bulletin 09/2020 from the Wallis and Futuna Health Agency.

Measles

  • Tonga: No new measles case has been reported since 12 March 2020. Specimens have been sent for testing last week – results are pending.– Source: Personal communication with country officials on 11 May 2020.

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)

  • Australia: As of 10 May 2020, 6,941 confirmed cases of COVID-19including 97 deaths were reported in Australia. – Source: Department of Health, Australian Government accessed on 11 May 2020.
