Weeks of heavy rainfall in South America has caused floods in Uruguay.
Nine provinces have been affected, including Treinta y Tres, Paysandu, Durazno, and Salto. The floods have affected over 4000 people, many of whom have been evacuated.
The floods have been exacerbated in some areas by the high water levels on the Uruguay River, which has caused floods in neighbouring Brazil and Argentina.
