The Syria Humanitarian Atlas is a useful tool for humanitarian organizations working on the Syria Crisis to facilitate the planning and implementation of activities on the ground. The atlas provides maps at the community level, as well as city maps which include neighborhood boundaries and key landmarks. A standard unique code (Pcode) is assigned to each city or village or neighborhood; essential for data sharing across organizations and sectors. The search capacity by locality is particularly helpful.
Maps are available in both English and Arabic to facilitate and support cooperation amongst Arabic-speaking humanitarian partners.
