Between 1st Dec 2012 and 15th Feb 2013, displacements were mainly recorded in South Central with approximately 16,000 out of a total 18,000 displacements recorded in all three zones. At least 9,700 individual crossborder movements from neighbouring countries to Somalia have been reported by the partners. This is followed by insecurity (2,700), IDP temporary return (1,400), eviction (1,400) and lack of livelihood (1,100). The movements originated mainly from Banadir (2,400), Juba Hoose (1,500), Bay (1,400),
Shabelle Hoose (580) and Juba Dhexe (480) regions. The top three regions people moved to were, Juba Hoose (8,900), Gedo (3,700), Banadir (2,000) among other regions.
