This map illustrates satellite-detected potentially damaged structures in Tacloban City, Philippines. Using imagery collected by the Pleiades satellite on 9 December 2014 UNOSAT reviewed Tacloban city identifying zones with potential damage caused by Hugapit Typhoon. UNOSAT estimates that approximately a total of ~ 6,500 buildings are located in these zones. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field.
