A new publication focuses on five priority Asian countries that are highly vulnerable to large-scale natural disasters: Bangladesh, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, and the Philippines.
The report finds that large-scale casualties can be prevented and that disaster-related internal displacement can be managed when there is political will to implement disaster risk reduction and management policies.
