UPDATE: Recent comparison data between January and February are now shown in the map, indicating the deteriorating situation for Borno as a whole, where the number of inaccessible areas has increased from 6 to 11 since the January assessment.

The following LGAs are now classified by SEMA as inaccessible: Abadam, Bama, Dikwa, Guzamala, Gwoza, Kala Balge, Kukawa, Marte, Mobbar, Monguno, Ngala.

Compared to the assessment in January 2016 this represents nearly a two-fold increase in inaccessible LGA.

Please be aware that the source data is at ward level, and that LGA marked as accessible or inaccessible might not reflect the LGA as a whole.

Furthermore, be aware that this latest SEMA data is not in line with other data about LGA accessibility, which shows markedly different numbers.
