In the South-East, the number of internally displaced people (IDPs) increased from 1,017,800 last week to 1,019,100 this week.
In Bago Region (East), arbitrary arrests and the Tatmadaw’s troop reinforcement resulted in the displacement of 1,300 people from Taung Khin Village Tract (VT) in Kyauktaga Township to other parts of the same township. In Yedashe Township, also in Bago Region (East), artillery shelling forced 68 other persons to flee.
