The number of IDPs in the South-East increased from 1,022,800 last week to 1,035,200 this week due to ongoing conflict and instability across multiple regions.

In Kayin State, 175 people from Shwe Hpar La Kya village, Hpapun Township, were displaced to Hpa-An Township, and 2,300 people from Ka Taking Ti village, Sin Swe village, Hpapun Township, were displaced to Kamarmaung Town due to the intensified fighting including artillery shelling and airstrike. 48 people from Pyar Sa Khan village, Thandaunggyi Township were displaced to Thandaunggyi Town due to armed conflict.

In Tanintharyi Region, 9,905 people from Pa Ra Dat, Le Shaung villages, Yebyu township were newly displaced within the same township and 1,885 IDPs from Pa Ra Dat village, Yebyu township were displaced as a secondary displacement within the township.
