In the South-East, slightly decreased from 1,019,400 last week to 1,016,900 this week.

In Kayin State, the intensified fighting displaced 1,203 people within Kyainseikgyi Township, 95 within Thandaunggyi Township, and also forced 99 to flee from villages to Hpapun town.

In Mon State, 2,068 people had to flee within Billin Township due to indiscriminate shelling and airstrikes.

In Tanintharyi Region, 1,387 people who were displaced in December in Dawai returned to their place of origin this month. Similarly, 3,270 IDPs 3270 IDPs returned to their place of origin to Auk Kyauk Wut village and Pa Nyit village in Launlong Township.

Another trend of return could be observed in Kayah State, where almost 2,800 displaced people who were in Shan State (South) returned to Laikaw town.

In Bago Region (East), troop reinforcement by the Tatmadaw and airstrikes forced 74 people to flee within Yedashe Township.
