In the South-East, the number of internally displaced people (IDPs) increased from 899,000 last week to 909,400 this week.
In Tanintharyi Region, 10,600 people from Yebyu Township were newly displaced within the same township, with 3,333 people displaced as secondary due to Tatmadaw troop reinforcements in the villages.
In Shan State (South), 1,315 IDPs from Pinlaung Township were displaced to Nyaungshwe Township following increased fighting in the area.
In Kayah State, 61 people from Demoso Township were newly displaced within the same township, while 271 IDPs returned to their places of origin in Demoso Township.
