Myanmar: Floods Overview (Jun - Sep 2018)

As of 30 September, over 268,000 people in Myanmar have been temporarily evacuated due to monsoon seasonal floods since June 2018. According to the Government’s Department of Disaster Management (DDM), Bago Region was the most heavily affected area with nearly 145,000 people evacuated, followed by Kayin and Mon States in the southeast and Magway Region in central Myanmar.
