Dollo Ado came into the global picture in early 2009 when UNHCR opened the Bokolmanyo camp to accommodate refugees fleeing insecurity in Somalia. Now, five years on, the small town in south-eastern Ethiopia on the border with Somalia is the second largest refugee operation in the world accommodating more than 185,000 Somali refugees in five camps.
