7 Sep 2012 - A mountainous rural region in China was struck by multiple earthquakes, the strongest measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale. More than 700,000 people were affected in Yiliang and Zhaoyang counties. Fifty people were killed and 160 injured in Yunnan and Guizhou provinces.
