COSMO-SkyMed MultiTemporal Coherence over Concepcion area.

This map shows potential changes that have occurred between the acquisition dates of the COSMO-SkyMed Spotlight-2 images (28.02.2010 - 08.03.2010). Such potential changes have been faced with optical VHR pre-post earthquake images.

In MTC map, green elements detects areas where the coherence is low and the backscattering value is significantly higher in the post image rather than in the pre image. Viceversa, red areas detects areas where the coherence is low and the backscattering value is significantly higher in the pre image rather than in the post image. Red and green areas are areas where a change could have happened, in the urban areas maybe caused by the earthquake. Blue elements are areas where the coherence between the two images is high and therefore should not have changed that much.

- Red: Pre-event SAR detected amplitude (26.04.2009)
- Green: Post-event SAR detected amplitude (15.01.2010)
- Blue: Interferometric coherence (26.04.2009 - 15.01.2010)
