This map illustrates satellite-detected flood waters over the affected provinces of Nuflo De Chavez, Guarayos & O. Santiesteban, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia. Flood water analysis was conducted by change detection with MODIS satellite imagery recorded on 6 February 2008 and 27 September 2007. This is a preliminary analysis & has not yet been validated in the field.
