Since October 2014 (beginning of the rainy season) heavy rain, hail, thunderstorms, floods and landslides have affected several areas of Bolivia, causing deaths and damage. According to the latest SINAGERVIDECI report (as of 9 April 2015), 119 municipalities in nine departements have been affected, with in total 37 000 families affected and 32 dead. As of 9 April, 52 municipalities have declared a «State of Emergency».
