POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor and working with informatics partner organizations, the Informatics Manager is responsible for managing and supporting implementation of system solutions to capture data collected through HIV recency data capture and management systems set up for national TRACE programs. The Manager will provide technical assistance to MOH in each TRACE country to support the collection of HIV recency data to improve HIV surveillance and response.

POSITION SUMMARY

In partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ICAP is conducting Population-based HIV Impact Assessments (PHIA) in up to 20 PEPFAR-supported countries. Each PHIA will define the status of the national HIV epidemic, guide global and local allocation of funding and resources based on evidence, and integrate capacity building of country stakeholders in the design, conduct, analysis, and use of PHIAs.

Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor of the TRACE program, the Development-Operations (DevOps) Engineer is responsible for designing system solutions to process and aggregate data collected through HIV recency data capture and management systems established within countries participating in the TRACE program. The Dev/Ops Engineer will also design web-based interface solutions to display key statistics and maps characterizing new infections in each country to inform national HIV prevention programming efforts.
