TERMS OF REFERENCE for Consultancy: final evaluation of ‘Standing Strong: Rebuilding Livelihoods of Displaced Populations in Iraq’ project
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting and finance functions including bank and cash management, management of grants or subcontracts from funders, and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper internal controls are observed at all times.
- Responsible for security of safe cash, checks, and bank accounts.
- Ensure the continuous compliance and development of necessary policies and procedures for finance and the streamlining of office processes to increase financial efficiency and productivity.

Context presentation: Un ponte per… (UPP) is a voluntary association founded in 1991, immediately after the bombing of Iraq, which promotes solidarity initiatives for Iraqis who suffered during the war. Un ponte per... works in Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Serbia and Kosovo alongside civil society organisations. In Italy, it promotes peace and disarmament, defends the common goods, and welcomes refugees and migrants. The aim of UPP is the prevention of new conflicts, particularly in the Middle East.

The Advocacy Manager will manage advocacy and campaign initiatives of the Iraq Country Office. As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT), the Advocacy Manager shares in the overall responsibility and the direction and coordination of the Iraq Country Office. The Advocacy Manager will liaise closely with the Regional Advocacy, Media and Communications Director and the Save the Children Humanitarian Advocacy Working Group to consult on and develop advocacy, policy, and campaign products.
Provide high-level technical assistance to MHPSS programme staff with technical support from the Regional MHPSS Specialist, lead the setting up and delivery of Iraq MHPSS programs for children, adolescents and youths, and contribute to high quality of proposals and reporting.During the coming 6 months period a focus will be given to the DANIDA proposal
