A research consultant to support the Stopping as Success consortium in conducting activities in Timor-Leste. The consultant will work with Search for Common Ground staff to prepare prior to in-country research and serve as a member of the consortium’s research team during the site visit (tentatively February 25th- March 8th). Peace Direct also will be conducting research in-country on behalf of the consortium during this time period.
“Stopping As Success: planning for success from start to exit” is a USAID-funded collaborative learning project that is looking at responsible exit strategies of INGOs. The primary goal of this project is to understand the multiple dynamics at play when ending a peacebuilding or development programme. To date, we have conducted case studies in Colombia, Morocco, Philippines and DR Congo. We will be carrying out further case studies in Timor-Leste and Bangladesh.
