Background: The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Myanmar Program is currently implementing the GEF funded Strengthening Sustainability of Protected Area Management in Myanmar project. This project has a major focus on capacity building for Protected Area Management with the Forest Department in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation.
About the role
This is a 24 months role with unaccompanied terms and conditions based in Port au Prince (PaP), Haiti with a salary of €40,402 to €44,892 We would like you to start by end of February 2018.
You will report to the Country Director (CD) and will line manage a dynamic team composed of Irish Aid Programme Funding (IAPF) Urban Planning Managers in PaP and Grande Anse; Protection Manager; Monitoring and Evaluation Manager; Program Support Officer and liaise with Director Systems; Country Financial Controller (CFC), and Area Coordinators.

The Country Program Manager’s core functions are to establish LWR’s presence in Erbil by identifying partners, researching and assessing program gaps and needs, preparing project concept papers and proposals, assisting in project implementation, representing LWR on behalf of the Senior Regional Director and Country Director in Syria, and maintaining excellent relationship with key stakeholders.
