COOPI in Sudan
COOPI has been present in Sudan since 2004. The recent history of Sudan is marked by strong disorders and violence, expressions of a civil war that on several occasions has shaken the country since its independence. COOPI’s interventions focused in the Darfur region that for a long time has been the scene of armed clashes and particularly hit by periods of severe drought.
Action against Hunger is an international non-governmental, private, apolitical, non-religious and non-profit organization created in 1979. Its goal is to combat hunger and dangerous situations that threaten men, women and children. Currently 500 expats and more than 5,000 employees are working for Action against Hunger in more than forty-six countries working in projects concerning four areas of focus: nutrition, health, food security and water and sanitation.
Do you have experience of the education sector that could help Street Child develop our education programmes in Sri Lanka?
Street Child is a charity dedicated to empowering some of the most vulnerable children in the world by giving them the chance to go to school and giving their families the sustainable means to keep them there. We aim to create avenues for out of school children to access education through an integrated approach that strengthens the capacity of teachers, schools and communities to sustain their investment in the education for their children.
About the role:
This is a 24 months new position with unaccompanied terms based in El Geneina, capital of West Darfur State with frequent travel to other field locations in West Darfur, West and South Kordofan states. The position is with a salary Band of 4 ranging from € 35,981- €39,979.
You will report to the Country Director with dotted line to PDs and will technically line manage National Accountability and compliance, Communication and ER coordinators in Khartoum, MEAL Advisors in West Darfur and Kordofan states.
