The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is a non-governmental, humanitarian organization with 60 years of experience in helping to create a safer and more dignified life for refugees and internally displaced people. NRC advocates for the rights of displaced populations and offers assistance within the shelter, education, emergency food security, legal assistance, and water,sanitation and hygiene sectors.
Under the supervision and guidance of the Regional Programme Manager, the Grants Manager will have overall responsibility for managing local partner programmes and will provide day-to-day supervision on the projects being implemented under the LEAD programme. S/he will work with the Regional Programme Manager and local Country Managers to evaluate grant submissions and ensure all grants are executed according to SPARK and Donor regulations.

Summary: Leads and manages the GPHS project to achieve its intended impact in strengthening quality SRHR service delivery (facility and community based) in humanitarian settings. Provides strategic leadership and managerial oversight of the administrative, programmatic, technical, and operational aspects of the GPHS project. Oversees the day-to-day work, including financial and budgetary oversight, timely implementation of activities, and stakeholder relationship management. Deploys staff and financial resources to achieve project targets.

About the role:
This is a 24 months new position with unaccompanied terms based in El Geneina, capital of West Darfur State with frequent travel to other field locations in West Darfur, West and South Kordofan states. The position is with a salary Band of 4 ranging from €39,219 - €43,577.
You will report to the Country Director with dotted line to PDs and will technically line manage National Accountability and compliance, Communication and ER coordinators in Khartoum, MEAL Advisors in West Darfur and Kordofan states.
