1. Background/Context of the programme:
HIAS seeks a Field Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day management of programs and operations in the Iriba region of Eastern Chad, to include those HIAS program activities in the refugee camps, which fall within the operating area of the Iriba Field Office. The Field Coordinator will be responsible for contributing, along with the other Field Coordinators, the Program Director and the Country Director, to a unified strategy for implementing HIAS’ community protection programs in Eastern Chad.

About the role: This is a 12 month, new role with unaccompanied terms based in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh at Grade 5 with a salary range €43,230 - €48,034.
You will report to the Country Director and work closely with Programme and Systems Directors and other staff.

The Head of Programme manages the Programmes Unit in Cox’s Bazar and coordinates closely with the Area Manager of the field site, along with technical staff. The Head of Programme position is based in Cox’s Bazar, with regular travel to Dhaka and field visits. The position, which reports directly to the DRC Country Director, is a key role on the Senior Management team and is expected to act as Country Director during gaps or absences. The Head of Programme is responsible for the following:
Since August 2017 over 800,000 Rohingya have fled North Rakhine and sought shelter in Bangladesh.
