Danish Demining Group (DDG) is a specialized unit within the Danish Refugee Council, one of the world’s leading humanitarian NGOs. We are looking for a highly-qualified individual to fill the role of DDG Global Advisor. This is a demanding role, working on behalf of the Head of DDG to set and develop DDGs technical and operational standards worldwide, refine and develop DDGs programming and quality management system and practices, and ensure DDG maintains its status as a leading actor in humanitarian mine action and conflict- and disarmament-related areas.
The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) was launched at the UN in 2002 to tackle the human suffering caused by malnutrition. GAIN is a global, Swiss-based foundation that mobilizes public-private partnerships and provides financial and technical support to deliver nutritious foods to those people most at risk of malnutrition. GAIN aim to advance nutrition outcomes by improving consumption of nutritious and safe food for all people, especially the most vulnerable to malnutrition.
The Contracting Assistant position is located in Procurement Services Branch (PSB) of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Copenhagen. The incumbent reports to the Contract Management Analyst of PSB Strategic Procurement Cluster.
A research consultant to support the Stopping as Success consortium in conducting activities in Guatemala. The consultant will work with Search for Common Ground staff to prepare prior to in-country research and serve as a member of the consortium’s research team during the site visit (tentatively February – March timeframe).
Reporting to the Chief of Section (Private Partnerships & Philanthropy), the incumbent will lead in the support and development of foundation partnerships providing overall strategic direction, relationship management and oversight.
Collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders is vital to success in this role. The incumbent must establish superior working relationships internally with key staff across the organization, externally with foundation partnership counterpart¿s, major donor and other stakeholders.
