ACF is established in Sierra Leone since 1991, implementing nutrition, food security and livelihoods, WASH and mental health interventions. Throughout the period, ACF has done large scale emergency programming and transition into development programme to improve the nutritional and health status of the populations.
BBC Media Action is the BBC’s international development charity, which uses media and communications to help reduce poverty and support people to understand their rights. We do this through partnering with civil society, media and others to produce creative programmes and other outputs which inform and engage audiences on key development issues. We also strengthen the media sector through building professional capacity and infrastructure of local media organisations in the countries in which we work.
About the role: This is a 24 month, replacement role with accompanied terms based in Freetown with a salary of Band 5 (€43,230 - €48,034). You will report to the Country Director. Your direct line reports will be the Health Coordinator, Education Coordinator, Food, Income & Markets Coordinator, MEAL Coordinator, Grants & Information Manager. You will liaise with the Country Financial Controller, Systems Director, Area Coordinator (and other Sierra Leone and head office staff as necessary).
